Pit Dads are a group of Dads who assist the band in transportation, set up and breakdown of band equipment. Work days include Friday night football games, Saturday marching contests and other concerts and special events. The Pit Dads also provide support for building props used in the marching show.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Don't know what a pea shooter is?  Don't know a marimba from vibes? No problem!  

We offer On the Job Training and experience is not necessary.

The requirements for being a Pit Dad are two fold. 

1. You must have a sense of humor

2. You must have the ability to spell YMCA. (Don't ask, you'll find out)

If you are interested in becoming a Pit Dad, just catch one of us at an event, (we are the guys in the GRAY shirts), or simply drop us an .  We'll be happy to put you to work right away.

It is well understood that our jobs sometimes prevent full involvement.  It is not necessary that you make every event, just show up when you can.  We look forward to seeing you.
